Lactose-free but full of flavor

Choosing the fruit: your child can take any fruit to school, the important thing is that he likes it. Kiwi, mango, melon, watermelon and guava are usually very pleasing because they are softer and sweeter. It is also easier to chop these fruits and create portions with the amounts that each child is used to eating every day. Tangerine, already peeled, is another great option.

To preserve: to prevent fruits such as apple, banana and pear from becoming dark after being cut until snack time, do not forget to squeeze a few drops of lemon or orange over them, the ascorbic acid in citrus fruits prevents oxidation.

Baby version: When choosing vegetables, choose small ones like cherry tomatoes or carrots. They are easy to store and also attract the attention of the kids. To avoid choking, serve these vegetables to children aged 4 and over. From the age of 2, little ones can already chew some raw vegetables, but it's important to always keep an eye out.

Right measure: the ideal is to put the fruits and vegetables in 250 gram jars. You can mix different fruits in each portion or you can also prepare a puree with persimmon, pear or apple.

When storing: chopped fruits must be sent in jars to avoid contact with air. If you are sending whole fruits, also put them in jars or wrap them in cling film, as this is more hygienic.

Ideal lunch box: as berries tend to spoil easily, always prefer to send your puppy's lunch in thermal lunch boxes. The ones that have an ice compartment, you can preserve your puppy's daddy even better. Oh, and don't forget to clean the lunch box well after using it.
