What foods release and trap children’s intestines?

The proper functioning of the intestine depends on several factors, the most common being hydration and consumption of foods rich in fiber, in cases of constipation.

This carbohydrate has two classifications: it can be soluble, which dissolve easily in water, forming a kind of gel in the intestine, or insoluble, acting to increase fecal volume. In addition, they are also known to help with satiety, control weight, blood sugar, cholesterol and improve the intestinal microbiota.

We find fiber in most cereals, whole grains, vegetables, greens and fruits (these last three must be raw, as cooking causes this nutrient to be broken down). And for those who think that the apple peel should not be ingested, know that it is very rich in fiber!
