Chicken with okra

Ingredients

Instructions

Marinate the chicken in a mixture of lemon juice, black pepper, paprika, and salt for 1 hour. In a pot, place the okra and cover with water. Add vinegar and bring to a boil until the slime is removed. Drain the water and set the okra aside. In another pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden. Add the bell pepper and the marinated chicken, and sauté until the chicken is golden on all sides. Add the tomato sauce and the okra to the sautéed mixture. Adjust the seasonings according to your personal taste and add water if necessary. Cook over low heat for a few minutes until the chicken is well cooked and the flavors are incorporated. Serve immediately, accompanied by rice and a varied salad for a complete and delicious meal.
