5 pie recipes


Classic Apple Tart:

Ingredients:
1 puff pastry
5 apples
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons wheat flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 lemon juice
2 tablespoons of butter
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Peel, remove the core and cut the apples into thin slices. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Place the puff pastry in a tart pan and pour the sugar and flour mixture over it.
Arrange the apple slices over the mixture, forming a design.
Cut the butter into small pieces and distribute over the apples.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the tart is golden brown and the apples are soft. Serve hot or cold.

Lemon Pie:

Ingredients:
1 shortcrust pastry
4 eggs
1 can of condensed milk
Juice and zest of 2 lemons
icing sugar (optional)
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Line a tart pan with the shortcrust pastry and set aside.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the condensed milk until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Add the lemon juice and zest to the mixture and mix well.
Pour the lemon cream over the dough in the mold.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the tart is firm and golden.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. Sprinkle icing sugar on top, if desired.

Chicken Pie with Vegetables:

Ingredients:
1 puff pastry
2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, broccoli, etc.)
1 chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 cup bechamel sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
grated cheese (optional)
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
Add the chopped vegetables and cook for a few minutes until they are soft.
In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, the bechamel sauce and the braised vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
Line a tart tin with the puff pastry and pour the filling over it.
If desired, sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown. Serve it hot.

Chocolate pie:

Ingredients:
1 shortcrust pastry
200g semisweet chocolate
200ml of fresh cream
3 eggs
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Reserve.
In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla essence until fluffy.
Add the fresh cream and melted chocolate to the egg cream and mix well.
Line a tart tin with the shortcrust pastry and pour the chocolate cream over it.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the tart is firm.
Let cool before serving.

Tomato Cheese Tart:

Ingredients:
1 puff pastry
200g goat cheese or feta cheese
200g of cherry tomatoes
1 sliced red onion
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Fresh basil leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Line a tart pan with the puff pastry.
Spread goat or feta cheese over the dough.
Distribute the cherry tomatoes cut in half and the red onion sliced over the cheese.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the tomatoes have softened.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top and serve hot or cold.
