Ingredients:

200g natural yogurt

4 medium peeled apples

1/2 cup of brown sugar (optional, if serving for babies it is better to exclude this ingredient)

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder

4 tbsp water 1 tbsp butter

Method of preparation:

Place the natural yogurt in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer. Leave for approximately 2 hours.
While the yogurt freezes, prepare the applesauce. Cut the apples into pieces.
In a medium bowl, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
In a pan over medium heat, place the apple mixture, water and butter. Stir occasionally until the apples are soft, about 15 minutes.
When the syrup starts to caramelize, the compote is ready. Remove from fire.
Remove the yogurt from the freezer and leave it out for about 10 minutes.
Assemble the plate by placing some balls of yogurt and cover with the warm applesauce.
If desired, finish with pinches of cinnamon.
